First, we welcome Eve Air Mobility to the AAM index, meaning that the seven OEMs now complete our combinatory analysis. Secondly, AAM infrastructure remains an urgent new frontier standing between today and the future of the Vertical Mobility Economy. Across all seven OEMs, the consistent strategy is capital-light scaling through partnerships, electrifying existing assets (FBOs/heliports/parking), signing MOUs with infrastructure operators, and bundling charging + passenger processing + ops concepts into “repeatable site templates.” But NEXA's and UAMGEO's core warning remains: these actions are necessary but not sufficient to close a multi-decade, metro-scale gap, for the UATM/ATC modernization and the pace of permitting + utility upgrades that drive time-to-network. We estimate that CAPEX alone for the 62 metro U.S. areas runs at $16.6 billion total over 20 years.
